OVERVIEW
The Warrington Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 & Warrington Township Department of Emergency Services work together to provide Warrington with continuous protection of life safety, and property conservation. The two entities maintain the latest equipment such as fire suppression devices, rescue tools, and fire apparatus.
Volunteers:
Currently have an active group of NUMBER members. Members train weekly on Tuesday nights on related topics to Engine, Rescue and Truck company operations. Volunteers are responsible for fire protection 24/7/365. When there is an emergecny members drop what they are doing from work, home, or at a restaurant and respond to the call.
Career:
Currently have 5 full time employees who also fill the roles of Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief, Fire Marshal, and Assistant Fire Marshal's. There are also NUMBER part timers who assist in filling in the schedule working as firefighter/EMT's and Firefighter/Paramedics. Career staff are in 6:30 AM- 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, working some holidays. The career staff work amongst the volunteers during those hours. Any emergecny on off hours are handled strictly by the volunteers of Warrington.
The full time staff also fills the role of the fire marshals office. Fire inspections, sprinkler inspections, alarm inspections, plan review and fire investigations are all handled by these staff members. In the event of a fire on off career hours, staff will be called back from home to complete the investigation, and assit the volunteers as needed.

The Warrington Fire Department is dedicated to the safety of those living and visiting our community. Our purpose is to protect life and property from the destruction of fire. Your fire department is also dedicated to protecting the environment from natural and man-made disasters through education, prevention, rescue, and Emergency Medical Support Services. Warrington Township Fire Company #1 was organized March 27, 1924 with twenty-two members. Currently Warrington Township is served by 53 active firefighters. The Warrington Township Fire Department operates out of two stations. Station 29, the main station, and is located at Easton Rd and Freedoms Way. Station 78 is the substation which is located at Pickertown Rd and Mill Creek Rd on the west end of the Township. As your community continues to expand with new homes and businesses, your fire department is meeting the needs with superior training and equipment.
