Early this morning, Warrington units along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to a reported Dwelling Fire on the 2500 block of County Line Road. Deputy 78, Battalion 78-1, and Rescue 78 responded, arriving on scene with smoke and fire showing from the residence. Rescue 78 stretched a line to the first floor, finding fire above and behind a fire place, and began extinguishing the fire . Crews opened up and found fire in the walls above the affected room, as well as in the attic. Multiple lines were stretched throughout the house for fire attack. Rescue 78 and mutual aid companies remained on scene for several hours for overhaul. The fire is currently under investigation by the Warrington Township Fire Marshal’s Office.
