For drill the past two weeks, we had Bud Henkels from the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety come and present his Wood Frame Construction Awareness class. Bud recently retired from the Carpentry business after 35+ years. With Bud’s unique expertise, his many props, and his to-scale model, members were able to better visualize many different parts of building construction that are crucial to understand as they relate to firefighting.
