Department responds to two dwelling fires overnight

On 12/19/22, at 1910 hrs, Warrington Fire Company, along with mutual aid companies, responded to the 2200 block of Blackhorse Drive for a reported dwelling fire. C29 arrived on location and reported that he had fire showing on the “B” side. E29 arrived, established a water supply, and quickly extinguished the fire on the exterior. The fire was contained to the exterior of the dwelling with no extension inside.

On 12/20/22, at 0121 hrs, Warrington Fire Company, along with mutual aid companies, responded to the 1300 block of Lisa Drive for the report of a house on fire. DC29 arrived on location and reported that he had a two-story, middle of the row apartment, with fire showing from the first floor on the "A" and "C" sides. E29's crew made an aggressive interior attack, quickly knocking the bulk of the visible fire on the first floor. Mutual aid companies assisted as needed including ventilation, checking exposures for extension, RIT, and performing overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 0222 hrs. Warrington Township Fire Marshal’s office is currently investigating the cause of both fires.
